Honda has consistently been a leader in the number of vehicles topping the Cars.com ‘American-Made Index’ since it began in 2006. In 2024, nine of the top 20 spots were held by Honda models.
Cars.com criteria for the American-Made Index includes: location of final assembly; percentage of U.S. and Canadian parts; country of origin for available engines; country of origin for available transmissions; U.S. manufacturing employees relative to the automaker's footprint.
